June was a busy month for me! A lot going on at work, a bit of travel, and we’re getting ready for some more trips this summer. Next week, we fly out to South Dakota.
Since I’ve been busy this month, there really hasn’t been much going on in my points collection.
Slow and Steady
I keep adding to my points and miles through a few cards that I manufacture spending regularly. Southwest, United, and American are the big three. So, each month, I’ll be gaining 2,000 to 4,000 miles in each of those programs.
Similarly, through my reselling business, I’m making points and miles on my SPG business card as well as my Alaska business card. When I buy products to resell, I’m spending anywhere from $2,000 to $10,000 between these two cards each month. I value both SPG (due to its great stable of transfer partners) and Alaska (due to the sweet spots in their award charts) very highly, so I’m enjoying earning more and more rewards in these programs.
Honestly, that’s it for this month! This week, I’ll write up my review of the United Club at Austin-Bergstrom International. After that, it’s out to the midwest for some more adventuring. Until then, I wish you all fatter wallets and fuller passports!
